As we wrap up another year, I wanted to thank you for standing with youth in foster care. This past year hasn’t been easy for anyone, but young people impacted by foster care have been particularly vulnerable to financial concerns, food insecurity, and housing instability, all while navigating complex systems and the transition to adulthood.

Fortunately, Silver Lining youth have had our dedicated mentors and caring staff to walk with them and help them along the way—so to all our mentors and supporters, THANK YOU for stepping up and reminding our young people that they are not alone, that they matter.

Over the past 12 months, we’ve shared incredible stories from some of our resilient young people and their mentors. Need a spot of inspiration? Check out their stories below! And please consider making a year-end gift to support these amazing young people.
