Where you Work: Reach Out and Read
Connection to SLMI worked at Silver Lining Mentoring from 2014 to 2016.
I rode the Rodman Ride for Silver Lining Mentoring because I know how important Silver Lining Mentoring’s work is!  As an employee at Silver Lining Mentoring for two years, I saw firsthand the difference that a trusting mentor and a strong community of support can make for a young person with experience in the foster care system. I knew that I wanted to share the word about the amazing work that Silver Lining Mentoring was doing, which is why I rode the Rodman Ride. For me, the best part about the Rodman Ride was being able to tell my family, friends, and others in my networks about the difference that Silver Lining Mentoring is making. I loved being able to share something that I am passionate about with so many others! The Rodman Ride is such a fun event! It is a very relaxed and feel-good day. The excitement of those around you for the organization they are supporting only makes the experience better-you really feel that you are part of something huge!
Now is your chance to join our Rodman Ride for Kids team and ride 25, 50, or 100 miles in support of youth in foster care!
It is a non-competitive scenice ride through Foxboro, MA on Saturday September 23rd.
