Youth and mentor talking

At AFC Mentoring, our first priority is to meet our youth where they are at and listen to their requests. AFC youth are not passive recipients of our services but active participants in their own success.

At AFC Mentoring, seventy-five percent of youth identify as people of color and consistently request mentors that look like them and have similar life experiences. For this reason, AFC Mentoring is dedicated to recruiting persons of color who are interested in being a mentor to youth impacted by foster care.

In March and April, AFC will be holding Info Sessions in the communities of Boston. To join us for one of these Info Sessions, please e-mail mentor@afcmentoring.net.
