SLM’S BOSTON MARATHON TEAM
Congratulations to our runners for completing the 130th Boston Marathon® on April 20, 2026!
Silver Lining Mentoring is honored to have been represented by two incredible runners through the Bank of America Official Charity Program. Together, they raised over $40,000 to ensure that youth navigating the foster care system continue to receive the long-term, unconditional mentoring and community they deserve.
Grace Condon

"I ran for Silver Lining Mentoring because I believe in their mission to empower youth in foster care through meaningful and lasting relationships. I know how transformative mentorship can be, and SLM's work to provide stability, guidance, and support for young people in foster care truly inspires me.
In 2018, I had the opportunity to help SLM plan their Match Gala and was incredibly moved by the stories of connection and growth shared that night and the impact of SLM's work on both mentees and mentors. By running and fundraising, I hoped to support SLM in continuing to empower and uplift youth in foster care."
Grace grew up in Boston before heading to the University of Notre Dame, where she studied Economics and Chinese. After graduating, she moved back home and began her career in consulting at Boston Consulting Group, where she's worked for the past three years. Outside of work, Grace loves running, skiing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Hugo. This was her first marathon, and she was excited to take on the challenge in her hometown.

"I believe every young person deserves someone who shows up consistently, wholeheartedly, and without judgment. As a mentor, runner, and community leader, I've seen how powerful it is when we invest in others not just with our time, but with our belief in their potential. Silver Lining Mentoring embodies that spirit, offering long-term, unconditional support to youth in foster care who often face life without a stable safety net.
Running has always been my way of honoring resilience—my own, my community's, and the legacy of those who've inspired me. This race was more than miles—it was a movement. I ran to amplify the voices of youth who deserve to be seen, heard, and championed. I ran to raise critical funds that ensure mentors can continue showing up, year after year, and I ran to remind these young people that they are never alone.
Every step I took was for connection, for hope, and for the kind of mentoring that changes lives!"
