2015-03-21 09.44.13_edited“I have so many great memories with AFC! I love hearing stories about matches that are long-lasting and the impact that AFC is making” says Natasha Walth , who is running the Boston Marathon for AFC Mentoring. “I was first introduced to AFC through business but quickly fell in love with the organization. Three years later I am still excited every day to be involved with AFC and to watch the organization grow. I am in awe every time I speak with a youth in foster care and see what they have overcome. AFC does so much to help youth overcome challenges.” As the Chair of AFC’s Board of Ambassadors, Natasha is doing just that. “In our second year, the Board of Ambassadors is more committed than ever to supporting AFC’s work.”

Since the beginning of 2015, Natasha has been training for and fundraising for the Boston Marathon for AFC Mentoring. “Simply training for the marathon has taught me so much about my body and overcoming obstacles. I suffered from an injury in January and February and the support I received from AFC was amazing! That alone made a world of difference to me.”
